The Green Bay Packers have released cornerback Makinton Dorleant following his arrest last month in Iowa.

Dorleant, an undrafted free agent out of Northern Iowa, played in four games as a rookie last year and finished the season on injured reserve with a knee injury.

Dorleant and Chicago Bears cornerback Deiondre Hall were arrested on March 25 in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Hall was arrested for disorderly conduct, public intoxication, and interference, while Dorleant was merely cited for interference.

Dorleant's release just furthers the Packers' depth issues at defensive back. Green Bay released former number one corner Sam Shields this offseason, and do-it-all defensive back Micah Hyde left for Buffalo in free agency. Former top picks Damarious Randall and Quinten Rollins both struggled with injuries last season.

Green Bay did bring back corner Davon House this offseason. House played two seasons in Jacksonville after playing his first four years with the Packers.
