Hundreds of Green Bay Packers fans packed into an Atlanta bar Saturday night for a pep rally on the eve of the NFC Championship game.

The Packers face off against the Falcons Sunday afternoon at the Georgia Dome with the winner advancing to the Super Bowl in Houston.

As usual, Packers fans have converged on Atlanta in droves, and are confident their team is going to win.

“You meet people from everywhere, you meet people from Wisconsin, I’ve met some from Indiana, Atlanta, we’re all over the place,” Milwaukee Packers fan Patrick Kerry said.

John Blatz is originally from Fond du Lac, but now lives in Colorado.

“It’s kind of tough because you don’t get to go to the games as much, but we still get to watch them every chance we get, and it actually solidifies and galvanizes our resolve in being fans,” Blatz said.

The rally was held at Park Tavern, a business that took heat on social media from some Atlanta citizens for hosting the Packers rally.

Employees pleaded with Packers fans to rate the business highly on Yelp, because 1,600 residents flocked to the site and game them a 1 star rating as part of the boycott.

Packers alumni Don Majkowski, Ezra Johnson and David Whitehurst attended the event and participated in a Q&A session and took pictures with fans.
