The Green Bay Packers brought in Oklahoma running back Joe Mixon for a pre-draft visit this week, according to the NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.

Mixon has visited a number of teams after he was not invited to the NFL Combine earlier this month due to a league conduct policy. A video released in December showed Mixon punching a woman in the head at a bar in 2014. Mixon accepted a plea deal with a year of probation and 100 hours of community service. Oklahoma suspended him for the season.

The Packers have been linked to running back in free agency and the draft after they released tailback James Starks and let Eddie Lacy leave to join the Seattle Seahawks. Converted wide receiver Ty Montgomery led the team with 457 rushing yards last year.

Mixon rushed for 1,274 yards and 10 touchdowns at Oklahoma last season.
