MILWAUKEE — Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo was named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week for games played Dec. 17-23.
Antetokounmpo averaged 24 points, 10.3 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 2 blocks per game, leading the Bucks to a 3-1 record last week.
He shot 57.6 percent from the field and had two 30-point games. Antetokounmpo tallied 32 points in a win against Detroit and 30 points in a 13-point win against Boston.
Antetokounmpo is averaging 26.2 points, which is tied for eighth in the NBA, a career-high 12.8 rebounds (fifth in the league) and 6 assists per game.
