By now you've heard of CrossFit, and you've probably had the same thought I did; let's not and say we did.

But at BrewCity CrossFit the noon class has crossfitters of all ages, even some working out for two.

Which adds merit behind co-owner Danny Noonan’s sales pitch.

“Personally I can say I’ve been doing it for a really long time. I'm not sick of it I still get personal records and things. I'm 40 now and I’m still improving at things,” said Danny.

Same can be said for Dave, who’s more than 20 years older than Danny.

“I am 66 and a half, if you asked my grandkids. I found as I was getting older I needed more variety and certainty CrossFit provides that,” said Dave Pavela.

A patron for 6 years , Dave is still hanging around, and doesn't plan to stop anytime soon.

“I don't have any time horizon, I feel like I could keep doing it for a long time. I'll just keep scaling back if I have to,” said Dave.

Hoping to follow in his footsteps, 29 year-old classmate Sylvana just joined the gym last week. But she isn't new to CrossFit.

“When I lived back home in Miami, I did it for about a year and a half. When I came up to Milwaukee to start dental school I didn't have time my first year, because I was so busy studying. But I did miss it a lot,” said Sylvana.

With any work out there can be health concerns. One BrewCity promise, they aren't looking to turn anyone into the next CrossFit games superstar.

“We’re not too hardcore. We don't have t-shirts with dragons on them. We're just a pretty laid back group of people and the workouts are fun and we keep it safe. Most of the time it's just modifications to the movement and lighter weight. Shorter workouts at least to start and these are modifications we can apply to anyone,” said Danny.

Yes, he said anyone.

Don’t worry, if you're still stuck on the image of Dave pumping iron.

He knows what you are thinking.

“I don't tell my friends I come here. Because they would say I’m crazy,” joked Dave.
