Bucks will bring back the MECCA era with uniforms reflecting the colors from court

The MECCA era of the Milwaukee Bucks will be reborn this year in the form of jerseys the team will wear this season.

For 12 games this year, the Bucks will don the uniforms including games against the Denver Nuggets at home and Philadelphia 76ers later in the season.

Last year, the Bucks honored the era by changing the court of the BMO Harris Bradley Center to reflect the colorful court of the MECCA in a game against the Boston Celtics.

The MECCA era refers to the stretch from the late-70s to the mid-80s, one of the Bucks' most successful runs.

You can get your own MECCA jersey starting Thursday at the Bucks Pro Shop or by clicking here
