Milwaukee Brewers' pitcher Jimmy Nelson took to Instagram Monday to share the health of his twin daughters.
In the post, Nelson said that he and his wife found out that the twins have "twin-to-twin transfusion; and left untreated carries about a 95% mortality rate."
Nelson did go on to say that there is a laser procedure that could reverse the progression of the transfusion but that even then there is a significant chance of losing on or both of the girls and they could face complications later on.
Nelson ended his post by listing ways that people could help. Not just his family but everyone in general. He asked everyone to "be slow to judge, criticize and hate but be quick to listen, help and love."
