There are no easy games in the playoffs, of course, but for the Green Bay Packers it may be harder than most. But Wayne Larrivee says the Packers are ready for it.
The Washington Redskins, winner of four straight heading into the postseason, are ready to welcome the Packers into FedEx Field. Are the Packers ready to cool off quarterback Kirk Cousins and company?
"The core of this Packers team has won a Super Bowl, and they won on the road," Larrivee says, "they have a confidence about them."
That vitality - as Wayne Larrivee put it - will help, but the team is also banking on the hopes that Mike McCarthy's play-calling that help keep the team rolling through the playoffs.
Larrivee says he can notice the difference over the last six weeks.
"The subtle things I'm noticing are in formations," Larrivee says, "the way he's using personnel."
But, he says, there's still a lot that the team needs to do to step up in a number of positons.
