Good leaders are usually smart and decisive. But great leaders have additional characteristics that make them more humane, such as compassion and empathy. The Humane Animal Welfare Society of Waukesha County (HAWS) believe that pets are the best teachers to teach kids these characteristics. Joining us to discuss the animal-based school programs at HAWS are Lynn Olenik and Caitlin Schneider.

HAWS Kids 'N Critters Summer Day Camps run mid-June through late August; they offer 1 and 2 day AND week-long sessions. For more information, visit HAWSpets.org/kids-camp-waukesha.
