A lot of people would agree that one of the best things to do in October is the Milwaukee Film Festival; each year audiences are thrilled by the best movies out there and the historic theater they are shown in. Unfortunately this year cineophiles cannot gather at the Oriental Theater to partake in the festivities due to the ongoing pandemic.
But do not fret! The Milwaukee Film Festival is still going on this year, and it has made its first debut as a virtual film festival! The 2020 Milwaukee Film Festival will take place October 15 - 29 and will showcase over 197 films from all over the world. We spoke to Jonathan Jackson, CEO of Milwaukee Film, to find out what movies will be showing, and how we can enjoy the same experience we know and love from the safety and comfort of our homes.
