During a time when it is not feasible for large group gatherings, four notable Milwaukee chefs are helping SHARP Literacy transform the non-profit’s annual culinary fundraiser into a unique drive-thru experience. In lieu of a traditional fundraising event with food stations, chefs are collaborating on a gourmet dinner - using core ingredients donated by McDonald’s suppliers - that can be ordered and picked up with appropriate social distancing at the event’s drive-thru “window.” SHARP Unwrapped To Go takes place from 5:30 – 7:30 pm on Thursday, July 30 at South Second, 838 S 2nd St, Milwaukee.
Lynda Kohler the president and CEO of Sharp Literacy and Chef Matt Alfaro of Meat on the Street join us for a preview.
