During normal times Zach Bartlett is the Front of House Manager of the Milwaukee Bucks and Fiserv Forum, overseeing all the guest experience aspects inside and outside of the arena; which is something he had done for eight years. In late June he found out he was going to be furloughed starting in July for the foreseeable future without a return date in site. When the furlough started though, instead of being down in the dumps and thinking negatively, he thought of a way to stay busy, give back to the community, show kindness and positivity, and to let everyone know we are all in this pandemic together.

So Zach decided to start the Venmo challenge! He asked his friends and followers on social media to donate .25, .50, or whatever was on their heart. Then, the next time he would go out to eat he would tip the waiter or waitress with the money that was raised to show that unexpected kindness and blessing. We spoke to Zach about his serial tipping and the ways he has made a difference in our community in difficult times.

You can make a difference today by donating whatever you can to SMBARTLETT18 on Venmo.
