Author Ann Hood's book Fly Girl is about a girl working as a flight attendant in the late 70s to mid 80s from the Golden Age of Flying to the changes we have today. The author grew up in West Warwick, RI a small town and she thinks that's why she probably read like line: Do you want a boyfriend in every city in the world? in a book about becoming a stewardess. She knew she wanted this job!
