Going back to school will look a little different this year. Whether it is in person learning or virtual, keeping kids on a routine is important to maintaining success and comfort. Rebecca Michelson, Manager of Community Outreach & Family Programs at Penfield Children's Center, joins us to give some useful tips to make transitioning back into the new school year go smoothly. She recommends staying enthusiastic, keeping a routine, and making a "school space" inside your home!

As a leader in child development, Penfield creates a positive start in life for infants and children, many of whom have developmental delays or disabilities, by providing early education, health services and family programming. To carry out its mission, Penfield delivers research-based programs at the critical time of early brain development when physical, cognitive, language, social, and self-help skills are formed.
