In 1999, following her own breast cancer diagnosis, Melodie Wilson Oldenburg founded ABCD (After Breast Cancer Diagnosis). Her mission was to connect people who had gone through breast cancer (Mentors) with people who were recently diagnosed (Participants) … to provide emotional support. Now 20 years later, Melodie’s vision remains and is needed more than ever. Joining us to share in the celebration of 20 years of service and to reflect on Melodie's vision are Judy Mindin from ABCD and Morgan Oldenburg, Melodie's oldest daughter.
If you or someone you know has been affected by a breast cancer diagnosis, ABCD can help. ABCD’s free services are available at any time .. diagnosis, through treatment and beyond. Call (414) 977-1780 or visit ABCDbreastcancersupport.org for more information.
