It's hard to believe there are dogs out there that don't hear "good boy" or "good girl" each day. In fact, there are many dogs here at home in Milwaukee, and even abroad, still searching for their furever home. A local rescue is doing all it can to bring together the perfect dogs to the perfect families, while feeding hundreds of dogs around the world. Stray Dog is a rescue here in Milwaukee specializing in taking the dogs that no one else wants. They have paralyzed dogs, dogs with no legs, dogs with no eyes or half a face, dogs who have been set on fire or tortured and abused. We spoke to Helen Summerfield-Brown, Founder and President of Stray Dog, about the struggles the pandemic caused, and the ways we can all help make a dog's life better.
