We are celebrating Women's Small Business Month.
Teresa Van Horn is the Co-CEO of the Van Horn Automotive Group with her brother Chuck. She is the second generation of the Van Horn family automotive business, and daughter of the late Joe Van Horn who brought the business to Plymouth Wisconsin in 1966.

Teresa started working for her father in high school, filing papers and doing accounting. She gained experience in several areas of the business and eventually operated the Van Horn Chevrolet of Plymouth store.

Van Horn Automotive Group has 169 female employees, which represents 27% of the total staff. This is higher in comparison with the 19% reported by NADA (National Automobile Dealers Association).

Many executive roles within Van Horn are occupied by women including their Controller, Director of Human Resources, Finance Managers, Managers of our Customer Service Teams; and they are seeing a higher percentage of women in Sales Consultant and Service Advisor roles. Van Horn Automotive Group would love to see more female applicants for Auto Technicians!

Celebrating its 54th year in business, Van Horn is one of the largest automotive groups in the state of Wisconsin; with 16 total locations (2 in Iowa). The organization has diversified over the past 10 years to include other business segments, including: Real Estate, a Finance Company – Wisconsin Consumer Credit, Insurance and a dealer services group – Wisconsin Dealer Services.
