MENOMONEE FALLS — These are definitely tough times for Trysting Place Pub. This once-thriving sports bar can only do carryout and curbside service for their food during this pandemic.

"I spent the better part of my adult life building this business and I've gone through a lot over the last 35 years," said the owner, Salvatore Zizzo. "I've gone through a lot of ups and downs, but never really was concerned about losing the business completely and totally, and I'm concerned about that right now."

Sal had to lay off 75% of his staff during these tough times. The seats that used to be filled with sports fans now sit empty. Sal is pretty much doing it all on his own now.

"I'm here every day," he said. "I work all the hours in the front. I have a couple of guys making the food in the back, I answer the phone, I bring the food out to the customer and collect the money. I'm doing it because I can't afford to pay anybody to do what we're doing."
