Tavolino on Murry Ave. on the East Side is a new Italian restaurant that just opened up by new owners Peter Dietrich and Derek Nackers.
They found out how tough it is to get things started during a global pandemic.

"There were some dark days sitting in here just by myself. The construction had stopped...I was still here and thinking okay is this ever going to happen," said Dietrich.
Dietrich is looking forward to building a strong restaurant bond with his customers.
"What you're really doing is building a relationship. You build a relationship one guest at a time and one visit at a time, one shift at a time, and you get to know the people that coming in and out of your building... you make connections and you give them a reason to want to come back," said Dietrich.
Tavolino is located at 2315 N Murray Ave. in Milwaukee.
