MILWAUKEE — The Yard at the Iron Horse Hotel is that patio that you have to put on your to-do list if you are looking for a beautifully comfortable place to lounge. They usually kick off their season with a huge Kentucky Derby party, but that didn't happen this year.
"Obviously, with the cancellation of the Derby we weren't able to have a derby party," says Adam Loefeel, the restaurant's director of food and beverage."But it gave us an opportunity to look at things a little differently."

They feel like they have an advantage because of their space outside and at the bar.
"It's Iconic in Milwaukee," Loefeel says. "People always ask, 'when is the yard opening' and now we're getting more and more of those questions. We are officially open. Right now, there are no seats at the bar. We took the stools away, especially on busier days where people want to maintain that social distancing."
