The Brass Key is a locally owned, charming Greek family restaurant and lounge on the southside of Milwaukee. The owners are still working to recover their financial losses from the pandemic.

"It did a lot because we have the neighborhood people are older people and those people that were coming every day for breakfast lunch and dinner sometimes and of course those people slow down," he said.

George has owned this restaurant for the past 29 years. He estimates a 60 percent loss in revenue, but his loyal customers keep coming back.

"George is just an awesome owner, he tries to please all of his customers in every which way, and it's great and my mom who is 93 who lives with us I have to bring food for every day from here it's like 'mom, I can,'" said customer Vera Zorc.

The Brass Key is open from 6 a.m. until 9 p.m. daily.
