MILWAUKEE — If you're in the mood for a delicious brunch, Rise and Grind has what you need. Larina Hightower has owned this restaurant for a little more than two years. She's changed the way she does her business because of the pandemic.

"If this ever happens again, we already have certain things in place," Larine says. "What I think it's doing for every business right now 'okay we're going to do deliveries, were gonna try and see what we can do, and maybe we can carry it through when we open back up to the community."

The place that started as a small shop selling just coffee and pastries is now a full restaurant serving its customers with love.

"What makes Rise & Grind so special... everyone is welcome here. The food is amazing, especially the Saturday Brunch," says manager Nikeisha Riseling. "We usually pack the place. It's the best."
