"I just believe it's how you treat people if you're making them smile you never know what somebody is going through. If they lost a family member, if they had the virus you treat it every day like it's a pandemic but you still put the safety measures in place so they feel safe, they feel welcome," said Kristie Wright, Mod Pizza manager.
They make you feel special when you walk in the door here and what they serve is pretty good.

"We've got a secret sauce, It has secret ingredients and we specialize in thin-crust pizza and the number one thing that gets everybody is that our toppings are absolutely free," said Wright.
The Mad Dog Pizza is one of the top sellers here, but they also have an impressive salad bar.
"Not only the toppings but the Variety of lettuce, we have the spring mix we have romaine and we have several different dressings, so that's what makes it special," said Wright.
Mod Pizza is located on N. Oakland Avenue in Shorewood.
