MILWAUKEE — Sabor Tropical on Kinnickinnic Ave in Bay View is a Latin inspired restaurant that's been getting a lot of support from the community during the pandemic.
"Our customers have been great. We have a lot of different types of people that come in now these past couple of months," said Linda Ortiz. "A lot of orders, so that's really good for us."
They've been on this block for a couple of years and what really helps them out is they have a big space and patio for social distancing.

"Well, we do try and keep a distance with them. We make sure [to] sanitize their hands as soon as they come in and [check that] they have the right mask on. So, we try and keep it safe and sanitize everything for everyone," said Ortiz.
"Ropavieja is very popular...Lomo De Res is very popular too and our Churrasco," said Ortiz.
Sabor Tropical is open up seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
