There's plenty to do without going far this weekend. To start, some exciting art displays are opening around the city.

Start your hunt at Sculpture Milwaukee outdoor sculpture gallery. Twenty-one works of art will be placed along Wisconsin Avenue starting Friday through Oct. 21.

While you're making your way around downtown Milwaukee be sure to stop by some of the city's top steakhouses, bistros and ethnic eateries for Downtown Dining Week. From May 31-June 7 patrons can enjoy three-course meals at $12.50 for lunch and $25-$35 for dinner. It's a deal you won't want to miss out on.

Another gallery is a perfect date night opportunity. Bay View Gallery Night takes place Friday from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. and showcases local art, music and businesses. The event is the largest gallery night in the Bay View neighborhood.

For some more local entertainment, head to Kapco Park to watch the Lakeshore Chinooks play ball. It's the perfect opportunity to fulfill your baseball craving while the Brewers are out of town.

The UPAF Ride for the Arts is finally here. On Sunday participants will trek anywhere from five to 70 miles across Milwaukee. It's a chance to support Milwaukee arts and win some prizes along the way.

Also on Sunday is the 5th Annual Vintage Car Show at Five O'Clock Steakhouse. The show has live music, food trucks, car prizes and raffles. Proceeds benefit the Milwaukee Homeless Veterans Initiative as well as DryHootch Milwaukee. Stop by from noon to 4 p.m. to check it out.
