MILWAUKEE -- For nearly a decade, the 'Stars and Stripes Honor Flight' has taken nearly 5,000 veterans of war from Southeast Wisconsin to visit Washington D.C. monuments in their honor.

Sadly, many of our World War II veterans which inspired this effort, are no longer alive.

Paula Nelson joined us on TODAY'S TMJ4 Live at Daybreak to share the Honor Flight's new announcement with our Julia Fello: They are looking for Vietnam Veterans to take on future flights.

The flights that take off from Milwaukee's Mitchell International Airport will take place September 16, October 14 and November 4. You can begin applying for a Vietnam Vet you know to take the flight of a lifetime, starting May 1. To apply, click here.
