WHITEFISH BAY -- Despicable acts of anti-Semitism are on the rise. A Milwaukee lawyer is helping keep track of all these incidents.
Ann Jacobs helped the Jewish Community Relations council not let these epithets go unnoticed.
She has documented children who have been harassed in schools because of their religion, shameful words shouted at people from cars and vandalism that include swastikas.
"When you as a Jewish person drive by and you see that written on a wall, it's literally someone saying, 'we wish you were not here,'" said Ann Jacobs, "What's important is that we as a community need to call out hatred and bigotry wherever we see it."
The Jewish Community Center in Whitefish Bay has gone through two lockdowns from separate threats.
The council on American-Islamic relations, the nation's largest Muslim civil rights organization just offered a $5,000 reward to find who is responsible for the threats made to JCC's across our country.
