MILWAUKEE -- Southwest Airlines is having a huge sale for the next couple of days.
They are offering flights as low as $49 one-way to more than 40 cities. The sale also includes other cities and the price of the flights is loosely tied to distance. The prices increase to $79, $99 or $129 each way for the other cities.
It is the airline's twice-a-year fare sale.
The sale ends at 11:59 p.m. June 7. Tickets must be purchased for travel between Aug. 21 and Dec. 12. Flights on Fridays and Sundays and a few special dates are excluded. Other restrictions may apply (sale specifically applies to non-stop flights for example).
