Social media dating app Tinder has issued a statement on the death of Sydney Loofe, a Nebraska woman who used the app to arrange a date before going missing last month.

"We are deeply saddened by this horrific tragedy. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victim's family and loved ones, and we are fully cooperating with law enforcement in this investigation," the statement said.

Loofe was last seen on Nov. 15, when she posted a Snapchat saying she was "ready for her date." Loofe was reported missing on Nov. 16, and a body believed to be her was found on Dec. 4.

The woman Loofe reportedly met on the date, Bailey Boswell, is considered a person of interest in the case, as is Boswell's roommate.

Boswell has previously said on social media that she and Loofe were at Boswell's house the night of Loofe's disappearance. Police have tracked the final GPS coordinates of Loofe's cell phone to about a half mile away from Boswell's home.

Loofe was reported missing on Nov. 16 and a body that is believed to be her's was found on Dec. 4.

Boswell's roommate, 51-year-old Aubrey Trail, remains a person of interest in the case.
