Get your P.F. Flyers ready, a prequel for the 1993 baseball classic “The Sandlot” is in the works, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The project is in the works at 20th Century Fox, and is in advanced development at the studio.
The original director David Mickey Evans is reportedly one of the writers for the prequel.
The news comes as the classic celebrates its 25th Anniversary.
The Hollywood Reporter says there’s no word on what the plotline will be for the prequel.
