Planters Cheez Balls, Cheez Curls return this summer

Posted

MILWAUKEE -- Planters Cheez Balls and Cheez Curls are making a comeback this Summer.

The company announced the two cheesy products will return to store shelves for a limited time starting in July.

The Kraft Heinz snacks will be sold at supermarkets nationwide with a suggested retail price of $1.99.

"We made sure our Cheez Balls and Cheez Curls still have the same delicious taste, airy texture and fluorescent color you know and and love, so our fans can enjoy a nostalgic trip down memory lane with every canister," Melanie Huet, Planters head of brand building, said in a news release.

According to the company, fans of the snacks have been petitioning for Planters to bring the product back for 12 years.

"We heard many impassioned pleas for us to bring Cheez Balls and Cheez Curls back over the years," Huet said. "We wanted to give our fans a chance to reunite with their most-missed cheesy snack."

Mr. Peanut will be making deliveries to some of the biggest fans of the snack.
