It was announced earlier this week that the popular Valentine's Day candy, Sweethearts or Conversation Hearts, will not be available for this year's celebration.
But on Thursday, the doughnut destination Krispy Kreme announced on Twitter that they would be selling limited edition Sweethearts doughnuts just for the holiday.
Candy lovers: we have one sweet heart of a solution for you. Actually, make that a dozen. #ValentinesDay2019 pic.twitter.com/uHILatCiJ8

Sweethearts said they wouldn't be in production this year as their original producer, NECCO, went out of business in July. The candy was picked up by Sprangler Candy Company however in hopes of relaunching for next Valentine's Day.
So if you're a fan of the chalky candy, make sure to get yourself a dozen, this may be the closest thing to the original this year.
