Facebook is no longer allowing anti-vaccination posts to spread on its platform.
The company is beginning to reduce the distribution of misinformation on vaccines by disabling some accounts, removing ads and recommendations and making the information less visible in searches.
Facebook will only disable accounts if they are found to continuously violate policies by sharing inaccurate information that could jeopardize the health of the public.
Instagram is following suit by implementing the same changes.
