Del Monte Foods Inc. recalled 64, 242 cases of Fiesta Corn Seasoned with Red and Green Peppers due to under processing, according to a news release.
The cans of corn were part of a commercial sterilization process and could cause contamination and life-threatening illness if consumed.
There have been no reported cases of illness associated with the products.
The recall includes 15.25-ounce cans with the UPC number 24000 02770. The product will have the "Best if Used By" date of:

Del Monte distributed the product to locations in Alaska, Alabama, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin, and international locations Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, El Salvador, Haiti, Guyana, Uruguay, Aruba, Panama, Saint Lucia and Suriname.
Consumers who purchased the corn should return it to the place of purchase for a full refund or exchange.
