MILWAUKEE -- Country superstar Kenny Chesney will postpone his April show planned for Miller Park due to the coronavirus update, it was announced Thursday.
The Milwaukee stop on Chesney's 'Chillaxification Tour,' originally scheduled for April 25, will be rescheduled for a later date. Fans are asked to hold onto their tickets until more details are released.
Chesney was set to be joined by Flordia Georgia Line, Old Dominion, and Michael Franti & Spearhead on the tour.
“You can’t take risks without really understanding the consequences,” Chesney said in a statement. “In times of uncertainty, I won’t take chances with those I love. I can’t imagine, as much as we love being out there playing for the fans, being able to do that through the worry our nation is experiencing."
The tour says seven stadium shows and four amphitheater shows have currently been postponed.
