A twelve-year-old boy Green Bay boy who had been missing for about 24 hours has been found.
Danovin Johnston disappeared from the 1200 block of Colonial Avenue Wednesday afternoon. His father Jacob Lappen says he searched the area for 45 minutes before calling 911.
Danovin tells TODAY'S TMJ4's sister station NBC26 he was just roaming around the area until around 7 or 8 o’clock in the evening. He says he snuck into a nearby hotel and ended up falling asleep in what he called a computer room where he was listening to music.
His dad says he didn't leave a note, and he even left his cell phone at home, so he couldn't be tracked.
His father said he's just grateful Danovin is home.
Danovin was found Thursday afternoon at a library. NBC26 asked him why he ran away, but he said he didn't want to tell.
