MILWAUKEE — Christian Yelich is a finalist for the 2019 Hank Aaron Award, an award given to the offensive player of the year in each league. The Brewers outfielder is the reigning Hank Aaron Award winner after ranking first in nearly every offensive statistic in 2018.

Yelich was also the 2018 National League Most Valuable Player.

If Yelich is to win the Hank Aaron award, he needs Brewers fans' help. You can cast your vote for him here.

Before he fractured his knee cap in a Sept. 10 game, Yelich was among the favorites to win the MVP for a second year in a row, which would likely guarantee him the Hank Aaron award as well.

Despite him not playing for majority of the final month of the season, he still has some of the best offensive stats in the National League.

The Brewers have never had a two-time Hank Aaron Award winner. The last player to win the Hank Aaron Award was Prince Fielder in 2007.
