MENOMONEE FALLS — A man is behind bars after a woman known to the victim was stabbed to death during a domestic incident in Menomonee Falls late Tuesday night.
Menomonee Falls police said in a statement Wednesday that officers were called to a home in the 15500 block of Menomonee Avenue for a domestic incident just before midnight.
There, they found a woman severely stabbed. First responders attempted life-saving measures, but she was eventually pronounced dead at the scene.
A man who was also treated for injuries at the scene was taken into custody, police say.
A homicide investigation is ongoing.
