MILWAUKEE — Two women were shot and killed near 5th and Ring in Milwaukee Thursday afternoon.
Milwaukee police say the double fatal shooting happened around 11:35 a.m.
A 42-year-old Milwaukee woman was pronounced dead at the scene. A 19-year-old Milwaukee woman was transported to a local hospital for life-threatening gunshot injuries. Police say she has since died from her injuries.
Police say the shooting stemmed from an argument. Police are seeking a known suspect.
The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office said an autopsy is scheduled for Friday.
