Woman ejected from vehicle after drunk driving crash in Germantown

Speed, alcohol were factors in crash

GERMANTOWN -- A woman was in critical condition after being ejected from her vehicle Saturday night.

The single-vehicle crash happened at approximately 11:15 p.m. on I-41 north near Holy Hill Road.

Germantown police said the driver was traveling in a closed lane and struck a barricade, which caused the vehicle to roll over into the southbound lanes of I-41. 

The driver, a 37-year-old woman from Milwaukee, was taken to the hospital to be treated. She was later taken into custody for a 4th offense OWI. 

Police that that speed and alcohol were factors in the crash.
