WISCONSIN — Wisconsinites, brace yourselves. Snow and sub-zero temperatures are on the way.

Starting on Wednesday, we may see a real Wisconsin winter.

Beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, southeastern Wisconsin may start to see a wintry mix or two. By 9:00 p.m., the real snow will arrive.

This snow is expected to continue into Thursday morning but should be out of here by noon.

Most of SE Wisconsin will see 1-3 inches of snow, but some areas may see up to four inches. Lighter snow totals are expected further north.

Following this snowstorm is a brutal cold front that could bring the first sub-zero temperatures of the winter season.

For Thursday, wind-chills will be struggling to even be in the positives.

That's nothing compared to Friday's expected temperatures, though. Wisconsinites will likely see that first sub-zero temp Friday morning.
