Wisconsin National Guard's COVID-19 testing sites this week

MILWAUKEE — The Wisconsin National Guard has releasedthe locations of its testing sites this week - including a few in Milwaukee County.

The Guard said Monday that it has processed more than 575,000 COVID-19 tests since the pandemic began.

The Guard maintains the following COVID-19 testing sites Oct. 5 - 11:

  • Bayfield County: One team will operate a community-based testing site Oct. 10 in conjunction with the Red Cliff Nation at the Community Health Center in Bayfield.
  • Crawford County: One team will gather specimens Oct. 8 at the Prairie du Chien Correctional Institution.
  • Dane County: Multiple teams established a community-based testing site May 11 at the Madison’s Alliant Energy Center and has collected more than 207,000 specimens as of Oct. 5. This site typically is open Tuesday through Saturday.
  • Dodge County: One team will gather specimens Oct. 5 at the Dodge Correctional Institution and Oct. 8 at the Fox Lake Correctional Institution.
  • Eau Claire County: One team operates a regional community-based testing site at 6415 US Highway 12 in Eau Claire. The site is open each Monday, Friday and Saturday from Oct. 2 to Dec. 7. Over 160 specimens have been collected as of Oct. 5.
  • Florence County: One team will conduct a community-based testing site Oct. 9 at the Florence Natural Resource Center in Florence.
  • Fond du Lac County: One team will collect specimens Oct. 8 at the Taycheedah Correctional Institution.
  • Grant County: One team will operate a community-based testing site Oct. 7 at the Southwestern Technical College in Fennimore.
  • Jefferson County: One team will conduct a community-based testing site Oct. 9-10 at Jefferson County Fair Park.
  • Kenosha County: One team will operate a community-based testing site Oct. 2-6 at the Kenosha County Job Center. It has collected over 1,100 specimens as of Oct. 5.
  • La Crosse County: One team will operate a community-based testing site Oct. 5 at the Health and Human Services in La Crosse.
  • Lincoln County: One team will gather specimens Oct. 6 at the Lincoln County Jail.
  • Milwaukee County: Three teams established a community-based testing site May 11 at 2701 S. Chase Avenue (UMOS) and has collected nearly 100,000 specimens as of Oct. 5. 28. Two teams established a Milwaukee community-based collection site June 1 at Custer Stadium at 4300 W. Fairmount Avenue and has collected over 41,000 specimens as of Oct. 5. Both sites typically operate Monday through Saturday.
  • Vernon County: One team will conduct a community-based testing site Oct. 6 at the Vernon County Fairgrounds
  • Waukesha County: One team will operate a community-based testing site Oct. 5-6 at the Waukesha County Expo Center.
  • Waushara County: One team will gather specimens Oct. 8 at Red Granite Correctional Institution.
  • Winnebago County: One team operates a community-based testing site Sep. 1 to Dec. 31 at the Sunnyview Expo Center in Oshkosh and has collected over 19,000 specimens as of Oct. 5. A team will also gather specimens Oct. 6-7 at a two Wisconsin Department of Health Services facilities in Oshkosh.
