WISCONSIN — Wisconsin homeowners have been named the second happiest homeowners in the country, according to a new study by Lawn Starter.
The study surveyed more than 5,000 recent home-buyers and found that Wisconsinites are the second happiest in the country.
All of the individuals surveyed purchased a home in the 2019 and were asked 118 questions about the home buying process.
The only state that ranked better than Wisconsin was Iowa. Their happiness index sits at 86.67 while Wisconsin's sits at 86.37.
Many of the questions asked revolved around topics such as neighborhood friendliness, neighborhood safety, job market quality, and location quality for families with kids.
Home buyers are generally happy, according to the study. The national average score on home buyer happiness was a solid 81.
