The Milwaukee Police Department and High-Intensity Drug Trafficking Area will participate in "Drug Take Back Day" on April 27.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Miller Park's Yount Parking Lot, MPD and HIDTA will accept unwanted, unneeded or expired medications to dispose of safely.
The event will accept prescriptions, over-the-counter medications, ointments, patches, non-aerosol sprays, inhalers, creams, vials and pet medications.
Illegal drugs, needles/sharps, aerosol cans, biohazardous materials, mercury thermometers, personal care products and other household hazardous waste will not be accepted.
