‘Whirlyball' bumper car complex considered for Brookfield Square Mall

BROOKFIELD - A fun and different new game could be pulling into SE Wisconsin.

Our partners at the Milwaukee Business Journal reported the owners of Brookfield Square Mall may add a “Whirlyball” to its list of attractions.

The Chicago-based entertainment complex allows adults to play a unique hybrid of sports that incorporates elements of basketball and lacrosse while riding bumper cars.

The complex is aimed at adults, featuring a bar and restaurant. The first one opened in Lombard Illinois in 1993 and there are four locations nationwide.

If it comes to Brookfield Square Mall, it would be located on the south end of the shopping center as part of the BistroPlex redevelopment at the mall.
