RACINE — Authorities have identified two construction workers, one of whom died, after they were run over by a cement truck in Racine Thursday.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation says the cement truck was backing up at a work site and ran over the two construction workers. One was killed, and the other was seriously injured.
It happened around 8 a.m. on Highway 11 at Ohio Street just outside the City of Racine.
The worker who died is identified as 39-year-old Dharmista Chauhan, from Menomonee Falls. The worker who now suffers from life-threatening injuries is Jordan C. Newson, 29 of River Hills, Wisconsin.
