West Milwaukee police investigating child enticement case

The West Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a child enticement case that occurred on Tuesday morning.
 
Police say a 12-year-old girl was walking to school in the 4400 block of W. Greenfield Avenue, when a man approached her and followed her while she was walking to school. 

The suspect asked the girl, “Do you want to take a ride with me?” and the girl replied “no.”

The man continued to follow the girl for several blocks until she reached a school crossing guard.
 
Police describe the suspect as a younger black male in his 20’s with short hair, wearing a black shirt and sunglasses.
