WEST BEND — You don't even have to get out of your car for a Halloween fright this year. While it normally goes by Scrub-A-Dub Car Wash, in October it's known as the Tunnel of Terror.

This decked-out car wash in West Bend at 1414 S. Main St. has lots of fun during Halloween. In fact, every year they add more and bigger decorations.

"We have some additional werewolves. We have some extra spiders as always. You can never have enough spiders," manager Brad Lenk said.

There are werewolves, severed heads, witches, tons of spiders, skeletons, and so much more. They have more than a dozen life-sized creepy creatures. Lenk has been doing this for the past eight years and each year it gets bigger.

For just the price of a car wash, you can experience one of the spookiest places in Wisconsin. But you better get in line.

"We see a lot of repeat customers. People who come through a couple times a day even just for the fun," Lenk said.

Many people come in by themselves and return with their children and grandkids, Lenk added.

Plus this year, for those looking for socially distant activities, this is perfect. You are in your car the entire time and all the employees wear face masks.

"So you get to stay in your car and you’re not going to an actual place where you’re going to have to social distance," Lenk said.

The decorations will be up until just after Halloween. Scrub-A-Dub is open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday - Saturday and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sundays.
