A West Bend man is behind bars after multiple accounts of stalking and sexual assault.
On Dec. 7, 2017, a 17-year-old female in West Bend reported a man who was following her for several months, West Bend police reported on Facebook. She said the man would show up at her workplace, talk strangely to her, follow her around the business and watch her from a distance.
The female reported that on one particular occasion the man walked up behind her and touched her inappropriately while she was bent over.
During the investigation, a different 17-year-old girl reported the same man was doing the same thing to her.
She reported that he followed her after she left her workplace on one occasion.
West Bend officers identified the 45-year-old man who was following the girls, arrested him at his West Bend residence and placed him in the Washington County Jail.
The man was charged with fourth-degree sexual assault and stalking.
