Half dozen cars hit by gunfire in West Allis

No injuries reported.

WEST ALLIS -- It appears a string of cars on 56th street and Greenfield were sprayed with bullets late Tuesday night.

At least six vehicles are damaged. Several have shattered windows and at least two cars have bullet holes.

Several neighbors heard the shots ring out just after 10 p.m. Tuesday night.

Kevin Ehmke lives nearby and discovered the damage Wednesday morning.

"Pop, pop, pop, pop that's what we heard," said Ehmke. "We didn't think nothing of it because we hear that all the time around here now."

West Allis police said nobody was hurt and no arrest has been made.

Police say their investigation is ongoing.
